Tongue Tie and Division
Tongue-tie (ankyloglossia) is when a short or tight band under the tongue limits movement. It can cause feeding issues in infants and affect speech or oral health. This procedure is often recommended for newborns with feeding difficulties, but it can also help older children or adults if tongue mobility impacts speech or quality of life. A simple procedure called frenotomy can improve function.
